Orion Invites You to Enter the Design Art Selfie Contest
Orion will be introducing their new Design Art Collection, a premier drapery hardware collection at IWCE January 20-22, 2015 in Las Vegas. Orion will be hosting attendees at booth 615. We invite pros to view the new products. While you are in the booth show off your social media skills and participate in our Design Art Selfie Contest.
To enter the social media photo contest, buyers can take photos using their favorite social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter using the hashtag #WinOrion. Who knows… you might win some pocket money for the slots?
There is no limit to the number of photos a single contestant can post. Make sure to use the hashtag on each entry. Only posts with the hashtag #WinOrion will be accepted. Winners will be awarded an Orion Voucher in the following three categories:
- Best Design Art Collection Selfie Photo – $200 Orion Voucher
- Best Product Photo – $150 Orion Voucher
- Best Selfie with Product Photo – $100 Orion Voucher
Show off your social media skills and join in the fun! Contest runs during IWCE/ Vision15 from January 20- 22, 2015. Winners will be judged by Orion’s team. The winners will be announced on Orion’s social media channels or before January 29th, 2015.

Created by leading interior designers and hospitality experts, who understand the sophistication expected by the private traveler and The Residence is designed as a couples retreat in an Airbus 380. You’ll be greeted by your butler and your private chef will prepare anything.
The Residence is the only three room suite in the sky- a living room, ensuite bath and bedroom. you ask for.
The bedroom in The Residence is decorated with delicate fabrics and furnished with natural fiber mattress double bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and choice of pillows. Who doesn’t want to wake up to breakfast in bed above the clouds.
The living room has a luxurious Poltrona Frau leather double-seat sofa with ottoman, two dining tables, chilled drinks cabinet and 32-inch flat screen TV.
A hallway leads to a bath complete with shower, custom toiletries and bathrobe.
You can book The Residence on flights from Abu Dhabi to London starting in December 2014. for about $20,000. While you are waiting for take-off, there is a communal space known as The Lobby, a bar and lounge with a semi-circular leather sofa, a marquetry table and large TV screen

We are sooooo excited to be nominated for Interior Design’s BoY (Best of Year) Award in the window treatment category. Being recognized by our peers, is so rewarding and it validates what we do. We’re a Finalist! in the American Made Awards
Martha Stewart announced this week that Iron Art by Orion has been selected as a finalist in the 2014 Martha Stewart American Made Awards in the Design category. Martha and her panel of 16 esteemed judges reviewed the American Made nominations searching for creative, beautiful, useful, and innovative products. Among hundreds of nominees, Iron Art by Orion stood out, being named a finalist. Orion is delighted to be a finalist in this amazing group of people and communities that have turned their passion for quality craftsmanship and well-designed goods into a way of life.
We are strong believers in the Made in the American movement and as the only finalist in the window covering industry we are proud to say we’re 100% American Made. We design and fabricate all our decorative drapery hardware- rods, rings, brackets and finials-in California and ship across the country.
Orion is also proud to be part of the Maker community- makers, small-business owners, and creative entrepreneurs who are creating beautiful, inspiring, useful products; pioneering new industries; improving local communities; and changing the way we eat, shop, work, and live.

Martha Stewart American Made Awards
We are so excited to announce that we have been nominated for the 2014 Martha Stewart American Made Awards in the Design category. Now the real work begins and we need your help!
Between now and September 8th, Judges in the Design category will be choosing 800 Finalists. The judges’ criteria will be based on innovativeness, creativity, originality, workmanship, overall aesthetic, and embodiment of the American Made theme. But that’s not our only chance to be a finalist; there are 200 wild card finalist spots and we’re activating our social network and encouraging our fans to help our chances by visiting our Nominee profile and share it on Facebook or Twitter. As some of you might know… Orion was started in 1983 out of the back of a pick up truck by Sunil and Atul Patel.
It is a true Made- in- America story that they are proud to share and are still fabricating 100% of all their hardware right here in the U.S.
